This news is from a few weeks ago, but it is so life-affirming that I wanted to write about it.

Hope the Puppy

The photo tells the whole story. Hope was born without its two front legs. She was rescued by Southern Comfort Maltese Rescue in Chattanooga, TN. A custom prosthetic was made for her using a molded body piece attached to hinged model airplane wheels! She’ll get a new one as she grows bigger.

I like this approach a little bit better than seeing a dog walk on her two hind legs, like Faith. She’s gotta be tired all the time walking around like that.
